U.S. Model 1898 Krag Carbine, #481831, .30-40 cal., 22'' barrel, blue finish, walnut stock. Condition is fine as rebarreled, retaining approx. 90% thinning original finish. Stock with some oil darkening near metal surfaces, with the only markings being a small ''48'' behind triggerguard. Barrel appears to be a modified '03 barrel that has been cut down and using an '03 type front sight. Action and bore are good. Est.: $500-$750. (C&R)
